Experience

As part of the web team, I own parts of our React frontend and my main area of attention is the highly dynamic home feed. Over time, we ensured a smooth transition over few React versions, the arrival of hooks, the migration from Enzyme to React Testing Library. I also manage a cross-platform templating technology for all our clients to use. To achieve this, I work closely with our UI/X team. Additionally, I maintain a dynamic webview for mobile clients so that they display charts in a consistent manner. I have been giving internal workshops about testing and facilitating communication to conquer roadblocks.

From point of sale projects to big online applications through static websites, everything runs in a browser nowadays. In that spirit, I selected a flexible set of libraries that work well together to bootstrap new projects as fast as possible. That includes mentoring people to bring them up to speed and managing our development power. The goal is to go from 0 to 100 in the least possible time.

Starting as a web developer, after moving a Django code base from Jython to CPython, I led efforts to drastically reduce rendering times of the whole system. I also led the creation of a micro-frontend for online ebook reading.
